Hello lovelies,

I hope you’re all well and feeling as excited as I am about the possibilities for change and new energy that new pencil case season brings with it.

This is such a good time to think about the changes we might want to make in our so-called careers, and what might be holding us back from fully committing.  Oftentimes, its fear. Fear of uncertainty, fear of the unknown, fear of making the wrong decision, or of cocking it all up and not being able to backtrack.  But while that fear often comes from a good place, if we let it paralyse us, or prevent us from making choices, we end up feeling stuck, frustrated and resentful.

If you’ve fallen prey to analysis paralysis, I’ve uploaded a fab framework to help you put your fears back in their box and start moving forward.

GIVEAWAY TIME!

I am also giving away a free copy of an awesome book, Emotional Agility by Susan David, which I cannot recommend highly enough if you need a bit of help getting unstuck. I use it myself and with clients all the time - in fact my own copy is looking pretty dog-eared already.

To be in with a chance of winning, hit the big pink Drop Us A Line button here, put Emotional Agility in the subject line and tell me one thing you’d like to change in your so-called career.

I’ll pick a winner at random at 10am on Friday 24th September.

In other news, the Careers Cuppa is back after a summer break. If a free weekly workshop session with a group of awesome women sounds right up your street, you can sign up here to join the fun and register for future updates.

ONE MORE THING!

I am working on a Very Exciting Project (VEP), and I need your help.

I want to know the burning career questions you wish someone could help you answer - from the functional to the philosophical - what is on your mind when it comes to your so-called careers?

I’ve set up a really simple form here, and I would be so grateful if you would swing by and leave me a question, and also take a moment to share it with other awesome women in your life.

As an extra bonus (and because I am all about the free stuff today) everyone who shares a question will be entered into a prize draw to win a coaching session with yours truly, and A MY SO-CALLED CAREER GOODIE BAG!!!

So there you have it - two chances to win, and a free framework to help you face your fears when it comes to change.  What is not to like?

As always, I love to hear from you, so why not drop me an email?

Take care,

Penny
